Engine Access Stand (DF071554-07-12)
This Engine Access Stand is purpose-built for the B777-9 and engineered to support efficient, secure access during engine and nacelle maintenance. As with all Factory Supply access equipment, the stand uses anti-fatigue ladder steps instead of narrow rungs, providing greater comfort during LRU changes, component adjustments, and engine or nacelle connect/disconnect tasks. It also offers access for servicing the GE90-powered 777 Legacy PDOS (Powered Door Opening System). Recent design updates include a lighter overall structure, reduced footprint, and refined geometry for improved maneuverability and functionality.
Both height and pitch adjustments allow the stand to adapt to the varying angles and working elevations required during B777-9 maintenance operations. Constructed primarily from aluminum for ease of movement, the unit is finished with a corrosion-resistant powder coat for long-term durability.
The stand supports safe access to nose cowls, fan cowls, and pylon disconnect zones across Pratt & Whitney, GE Aviation, and Rolls-Royce engines—helping technicians reach under-cowling locations that can be difficult to service. It also provides stable access to forward and aft pylon service points, refuel panels, and other under-wing areas.
Optional accessories enhance both safety and mobility, including corner-leveling jacks, fold-away tow bars, and lift-truck fork pockets. The Factory Supply B777-9 Engine Access Stand is engineered and tested in accordance with ANSI-ASC A14.7 and BS EN 131.7, and includes CE Certification.
