Skylight Guardrail systems are engineered to provide reliable fall protection for skylights, ensuring full compliance with OSHA 1926 Subpart M – Fall Protection (1926.501(b)(4)(i)) for construction and OSHA 1910 Subpart D – Walking-Working Surfaces (1910.28(b)(7)) for general industry. According to OSHA, any roof opening, including skylights, must have adequate fall protection, whether the skylight is open or closed.
Skylight Guardrails are designed to maximize fall protection while preserving natural light. Its modular aluminum structure integrates seamlessly with most skylight types and sizes. The guardrail is constructed using corrosion-resistant aluminum tubing and counter-weighted baseplates, providing a durable solution that won’t compromise your roof integrity, since it requires no drilling or rooftop penetration.
Each Skylight Guardrail kit is pre-assembled with intuitive, easy-to-follow instructions and requires only one tool for installation. The system is designed to fit on a single pallet, making it easy to store, ship, and handle.
