Heavy Duty Outside Clamping Roll Handlers
Clamp gripping roll handlers use a clamping mechanism that grips the outside of the roll.
Heavy Duty Outside Clamping roll handlers are used to lift, move, and reorient rolls that weigh 500 lbs. or more.
These pieces of equipment can be designed to perform a number of functions, the two main functions are;
Horizontal or Vertical
Roll handlers that are designed mainly to move a roll from one point to another without having to change the horizontal or vertical orientation of a roll. The clamp fits on the outside of the roll and can move the roll up or down, forward or back, side to side.
Lift, turn, and rotate
Roll handlers that are designed to change the orientation of a roll. This can be to turn, rotate, and lift. The clamp fits on the outside of the roll and the roll can be turned from a horizontal to vertical orientation, rotated in tight spaces, or between different machinery, among many other practical uses.

With its compact size, this roll handling system is able to quickly and efficiently move throughout your facility, enabling you to optimize your material handling process.
All of these roll handling systems are designed with a 24-volt industrial battery which will provide enough power to run continuously for a 2-shift operation without requiring any recharging. This roll handling system is designed in order to grip rolls vertically or horizontally form pallets depending upon the equipped roll clamp.
Paper Roll Handling Lifts and Grippers
Pick up and transport rolls with ease, with several different clamps available for specific ranges of roll diameters. Many of these roll handling systems are able to grip paper rolls, and rolls of a variety of materials. With three different RCR clamp sizes available, enabling you to pick up various size roll diameters.
Delta Outside Clamp
The Delta-Outside Clamp is able to lift and turn rolls by utilizing their outside diameter to lift them allowing for the user to palletize, transport and load rolls of a variety of sizes up to 2,200 lbs (1,000 kg). This roll handling lifting device is often used to clamp on the outside diameter of large rolls and turn them in order for them to be moved and stored in a different location of your facility.
Speedy Outside Clamp
The Speedy-Outside Clamp is able to lift and turn rolls by utilizing their outside diameter to lift them allowing for the user to palletize, transport and load rolls of a variety of sizes up to 1,500 lbs (680 kg). Driving and maneuvering even in crowded work areas is safe and easy. Both the lifting and turning functions are powered by the truck’s hydraulics. Lever control valves allow lifting and turning in minute increments, making precision alignments fast and easy.
Easy Lift Roll Manipulator
This narrow roll handling unit are perfect for moving rolls through narrow aisles within your facility and is able to manipulate rolls weighing up to 500 lbs. This roll handling system also has a foot floor lock ensuring that this roll handing system is safe to use. With 360 degree rotation and a power clamp and lift you can be assured that this roll handling system will optimize your workplace efficiency while also preventing employee injuries.
Freedom Plus Lifter Roll Handler
This roll handling unit was developed to handle loads which weigh up to 770 pounds. The Freedom Plus Lifter is designed with a modular build and is battery powered. This roll handling unit also offers a wide variety of lift heights and has a lightweight body due to its steel construction.
