Our Journey

2000

Factory Supply launched as a small business selling ladders, conveyor belts and hoppers.

2000

2004

The company is purchased by Barbara Goodwin, a local business real estate agent who took on the business with her husband. They decided to expand the company and focused on standard product offerings.

2004

2009

Factory Supply moved to Saint Petersburg, Florida, with a strong business focus on ladders and work platforms. It was at this time that the company began to offer customizations to their standard products.

2009

2010

The company expanded into the aircraft maintenance industry, offering high-quality access equipment and working with large companies like Boeing and AAR. Customization continued to be a growing practice within the company.

2010

2012

The Factory Supply team expanded, and new software was purchased to allow the company to design and produce custom equipment drawings. Custom equipment orders grew to account for about 50% of Factory Supply’s business. The company continued to expand into new industries such as military defence and helicopter maintenance.

2012

2016

A third party purchases the company.

Factory Supply joins the Liftsafe Group of Companies.
